 Update from Christ Presbyterian Church

The book of Lamentations is an expression of grief of the Lord's people. Yet, in the midst of that grief comes a praise of the Lord's faithfulness. 

"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

Lamentations 3:21-24

The linked letter is from the elders of our church to inform our congregation of the regrettable sin and unfortunate removal of the Senior pastor. We are a broken hearted people, yet we lean on the Lord for His promise of faithfulness, grace and repentance. 

We invite you to join us as we seek the Lord together through grief and hope.

Everything we do at CPC is shaped by four values that we believe Scripture presents as foundational to the mission of Christ's Church.

Worship

Worship is our highest and holiest calling. We worship God daily by offering ourselves as living sacrifices. We worship God corporately by magnifying Jesus Christ and celebrating his Gospel together as a church.

Teaching

Teaching is instruction for life that transforms. As such we want to engage the heart as well as the head. The teaching ministries of CPC are rooted in the Bible and seek to cultivate growth in grace, knowledge and love.

Nurture

Nurture is caring for one another in an environment of grace. As Christians, we are being nurtured by a loving God and we seek to nurture one another with God's love. We seek to do this through life-on-life interaction.

Reaching

Reaching is the outworking of the Gospel in both word and deed. We believe that God has called us to make His grace known, thus we strive to actively participate in the mission of God both locally and around the world.
