Our church has been a beacon of hope to this community for decades, a Christ-centered city on a hill. While our building is not the church, it is a tool to help reach the lost, worship, celebrate our lives and provide a place of refuge for our children and community. As stewards of this legacy, we want to ensure we are continuing to invest in the future of our ministry.

Providential calamity. God’s timing. It’s much bigger than a fire. With the immediate need of restoring our building, we recognize our sanctuary hasn’t seen a major update in 40 years and this restoration effort has presented an opportunity to match our facilities to our exceptional ministry and mission.

We believe it is good stewardship and God’s calling to go beyond the restoration of our building. We will make our sanctuary more functional and aesthetically pleasing for visitors. We will make our children’s area safer. Enhance worship activities. Bless our community with a vibrant, beautiful welcoming facility for generations to come. To not just restore our spaces, but renew and revitalize the place we call home.

Mission-Focused

The Lord has blessed us with this opportunity and we want to use it to live out our mission “We are a Christ-Centered community of believers seeking to love one another, our city, and the world well. At CPC Jesus has brought together a diverse collection of people that are desperately in love with Him.”

We are committed to serving our community and our world. Trusting God’s faithfulness, we are contributing 10% of the committed increased giving to mission-focused, Christ-centered organizations we have been partnering with for years.; Christ for Humanity and our international missions partners the Shepherds and the Kuneys.

Vision for the Future (Sanctuary)

The original entrance of the church faced north, however, with the expansion of the interstate and various additions to the church facility, the entrance now faces south. The orientation of the sanctuary, did not change, creating an awkward experience for visitors and members alike. The current revitalization plan will flip the orientation to match. This effort comes with the opportunity to improve upon the functionality and beauty in our place of worship. Particularly, in the following areas:

  • Reorientate the layout of the sanctuary.

  • Modern, yet timeless flooring, walls and fixtures

  • Improved bathrooms surrounding sanctuary

  • More functional worship platform

  • Up-to-date audio / visual equipment and installation

Vision for the Future (Children’s Area)

Children’s ministry is a sacred duty. Currently, our most precious and vulnerable resources are steps away from an entrance with very little built-in security. The renewal effort would look to ensure the safety of our little ones in the following ways:

  • Sealed doors and entrances for improved security

  • Restructured and proportionate learning spaces

  • Revitalized floors and ceilings
